Once upon a time the Xpress overlords ruled that the two separate teams of Speech and Drama, should thence forward be merged as an almighty, all-encompassing Speech Team…
Together Sarah and Wendy ‘work hard’ to find slots in the schedule for all those who have something important to say, or just different from the music-orientated mainstream and specialist DJ shows.
We also write, act and edit the radio drama which is aired in the Xpress broadcast weeks. We always need ideas for characters and storylines and you can get the chance to make your own work come alive, by writing in a team or by yourself. Whatever suits you.
So, if you feel like talking about what interests you, or just generally have a great idea for a show or a piece of drama, then we are the girls to see! Comedy, sport, current affairs, politics, travel- or anything else you have to share with the student body of Cardiff. Likewise we are always looking for acting gurus to play out the work of our script-writing marvels!
